2. LAPUTA : ORIGAMI CLOUD
“ My design statement is to design a preschool that will appear at the top of the public and make a foldable and continous landscape that will allow to be the learning space without any classrooms. ”

The site where this preschool will pop up is at the main entrance of Waterloo Center. The ground level of this area is very busy with the flow of pedestrians entering or going out from the center. There are also existing public usage around the area like seating areas and small greeneries with benches. This brings us to the idea that pop up should happen on the second-floor level.
Axo The first thing they will encounter will be the endless layer of the landscape that continues to the view of the street. The second thing will be the river of nets, which is the most active playing area in this preschool.

- The structure in the middle holding the preschool on top, and the direction of the axis will clearly guide them to the staircases to come up to the second floor.
- Also from the below, they can see the nets on the top where they can see the children playing on the nets which is another element that will also guide them to the entry point.

thing they will face when they come up is the space-like cave, which guides
